I have been wanting to do a portrait session in this field for a long time. The Fall sunsets are simply stunning this time of year. Photography Club is looking for Members! Hackettstown, NJ & Skylands

Announcing a new local photography club: Skylands Photography Circle.  Meet with other local photography enthusiasts to follow a map-guided walking (or driving) tour of Hackettstown between 5:00PM and 7:00PM on Friday Oct 7th. Maps can be obtained at Heart & Sohl Photography's studio (126 Valentine Street, Hackettstown). After the walking tour, join others at Heart & Sohl Photography's studio for refreshments, light fare and to talk about photography and upcoming club ideas. Novice to experienced photographers are encouraged to participate!

Sat, Oct 8th from 5:00PM to 9:00PM Sean and Jessi of Heart & Sohl Photography will display the top 10 images from each participant of the walking tour during the second part of their Open House.  Saturday's events include live acoustic guitar music, coffee, refreshments, and appetizers while guests and participants view their photography on a large projection screen!

You're invited to tour the farm!

 

Join farmer Matt, Full Food Farm staff and members on Saturday, August 20, for a tour of Howling Wolf Farm.  Meet the plants and animals and get a chance to learn deeply about pasture-raised beef, along with vegetables and the farm ecosystem.  See and learn how working intuitively with deep care can create food full of life.

 

Children are welcome and the event is free of charge.  Donations to the farm's educational efforts (and upcoming non-profit organization) are welcome.

 

Farm tours and a food preservation demonstration take place from 1-5pm, with potluck from 5-7pm.  Bring local, organic dishes that you like or simply stay to chat, enjoy the farm and good company!
